Melrose Pilates is one of my favorite studios in LA. The location is great and the studio has a fantastic vibe that makes the work out even better. I take semi-private lessons with Shauna Michele and she is incredible. She has been working with me over the past couple months and every time I leave her class I feel ready to take on the world. She pays detailed attention to everyone's level and progress and carries that over from class to class to make sure she is giving you a workout that is effective and beneficial to your specific body. I can both see and feel the changes my body is going through since starting with her and I absolutely love it. On top of all that she has an amazing personality, makes you feel extremely comfortable while still challenging you to push yourself and plays great music throughout. Take her class..you will not regret it!

I'm a huge fan of Shauna's, and I take as many of her classes as possible. She's an amazing instructor who can quickly assess each client's fitness level, strength, and experience and provides modifications for every exercise to maximize each individual's workout. I've seen noticeable changes in my body since I started taking Shauna's classes, and I highly recommend her to anyone interested in Pilates, regardless of fitness level and existing experience. Shauna is amazing. Not only is she incredibly sweet and motivating, she really knows what she is doing and will craft each training session around your unique goals - even if your goals morph over time like mine did!! When i first started, I was coming off of physical therapy from a minor back injury and wanted to continue the strength and conditioning I was getting from physical therapy. I had also gotten out of shape while not being allowed to exercise outside of physical therapy for several months, and was a few months away from work and being so lazy to do any work out when i got started. So, she created the perfect balance of first getting my back into a place where I could then start to increase the intensity to really get myself to my ideal weight and body shape (toned arms, abs, everything!). Not only do I look so much better, I feel strong and healthy too! I have better posture all day and am no longer achey or fatigued at the end of each day. i feel more inspirational, and calming. I can't thank enough from maria for hiring such an amazing trainer like her and i highly recommend her your life will be changed. Shauna is the best and perfection! - Julie P.

Shauna is the best Pilates instructor I've ever had. She's really nice and attentive and caring with her students and she pays a lot of attention to injuries, which is great. Also, English is not my first language and she knows I sometimes don't understand the exercises so she always makes sure that I'm doing them correctly. I really appreciate it.
